The Big6 Research Process
1. Task Definition: Which three tribes will you research?
2. Information Seeking Strategies: Find sources and then select the best ones.
3. Location and Access: Locate information sources and then find information within the sources.
4. Use of Information: Read, hear, and view the information in order to decide what information you will need to complete the task.
5. Synthesis: Organize your information. How will you present it? PowerPoint? Photo Story? Brochure?
6. Evaluation: Does the final product provide relevant information about your disaster? Was the research process you followed effective and efficient?
